The Rev. Dr. Katherine Carboo

The Rev. Dr. Carboo came to this point in Ministry having been a "Gorilla -Warfarer" in Intercessory and Prayer Ministry for thirty (30) years.
A Journalist of forty-years, retired as a Senior Civil Servant; (Public Relation/ Communicator, and a Diplomat (Press Attaché’) of Ghana to the United State of America she heeded the voice of God by entering into the National Bible College and Seminary, Fort Washington in Maryland in 2010 at the end of her diplomatic Duty Tour. Prior to this period, she did not escape the blinkering flash signs of total commitment to this aspect of God's work. When God calls, He prepares the called and Dr. Carboo is not an exception.
From making her the first of her siblings of six boys to making her a Mass server of the Holy Sanctuary at the age of five, God made an indelible impact through theses phases of her life. Pioneering the establishment of the Public Relation’s Department of Ghana National Commission on Children to commemorate its 10th anniversary she handled single handedly Ghana’s adoption of the United Nation’s Convention on the Rights of the Child in 1989; getting her into the throes of the situation of World’s Child.
The Theme for the celebration was, “The Child cannot Wait to be Educated”. The success of the Campaign brought on board a host of collaborators who worked with the UN and the Commission creating awareness on the Rights of a Child to all human rights through music. UNICEF was partnered by several renowned Musicians to sing to create awareness by the song entitled:
“We Are the World”.
Through Dr. Carboo's initiative the Commission took the cue of creating a fund for educating Ghanaian children through music with Stars like Alvin Queen, Okyerema Asante, Kanda Bongoman and the Brooklyn Brass Band of New York.
"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life", (John 3:16).
We are all collaborators for we have been children before, we have children, nieces and nephews, and we have Grandchildren etc. They are the World and the continuation of humanity, we cannot fail them; we cannot fail God. We cannot fail ourselves. Amen.
Dr. Carboo, benefited from a grant by Berea University of Theological Studies when Dr. Kim Ki Dong established a College for the training of Pastors and Evangelists in 1994 and founded Foundation for Education and Placement of Youth (FEPY) in 1995 November after benefiting from an International Visitor's Program of the United State for the empowerment of women.
She worked in collaboration with several organizations to assist the Youth of Accra Villages. By the support of the USA Embassy and in collaboration with the National Council on Women and Development worked with Greater Accra Ga District in outreach programs on maternal health, birth control HIV AIDS Education and Youth Placement and Empowerment. During one such outreach Dr Carboo together with her collaborators were able to release a lady whose biological father has driven his wife, (her mother) away and married his own daughter when she was just ten years.
He fathered five children by her in a village in Rural Accra. The Social Welfare in collaboration with Women Police Officers for the safety of Domestic violence took over the case to set her free from this sacrilege. Some children are sold into slavery.

On two different occasions the Lord used the intercessory prayers of "Jesus the Truth Ministry" to locate and bring back two children abducted for Slavery on the West Coast of Africa; one was taken as far as Abuja, Nigeria. Through this miraculous restoration by the Mercies of God, her Muslim mother gave her life to Christ. The other was located loitering around the Togo Border by an Officer of the Ghana Immigration Services, who became suspicious of the people with the child who could not communicate in any of Ghanaian dialects the child spoke.
She was abducted in the afternoon after School, and we started praying immediately. By 6.00pm the abductors have been arrested on the Togo – Ghana Border, same day to the Glory of the Most High God.
As Director of Information of the NCWD of Ghana, the first World Youth Conference African Regional Preparatory Meeting in Accra towards the final in Egypt in 1996 was co-ordinated by her on behalf of Ghana.
Whilst on Study-leave in the UK, she observed and identified the typical stance of defiance of youth by interviews of a couple of "hooded youth" who randomly vandalized public transport. Researching further into the trend blustered by unnecessary tragic deaths of both youth and adults, it became obvious that the Children and Youth feel rejected and unloved. The result is destructive and detrimental to their development. All collaborators need to help love them by the love of God.
